Job summary

True Oil LLC in Casper, Wyoming seeks an experienced accounting professional for a full-time, on-site role supporting sister companies. You will review reports, ensure accuracy across systems, reconcile accounts, and supervise staff while coordinating with operations and external customers.

Required: associate degree in accounting and 4+ years’ experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. ERP experience (Oracle/Excalibur/E21/NextWorld) is preferred.

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in accounting and four (4) or more years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
• Complete understanding of accounting principles.
• Attention to detail with the ability to verify accuracy in one’s own work.
• Ability to read basic business documents (invoices, financial statements, emails) and correspond professionally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review reports and schedules to ensure day-to-day transaction accuracy across multiple accounting systems.
• Verify controls and processes have been followed.
• Supervise and direct work product of subordinates.
• Review and approve direct reports' work (vouchers, schedules).
• Reconcile accounts and identify issues within the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with operations and accounting to resolve problems.
• Communicate with external customers and file federal/state reports.
• Prepare corrections and accruals and provide coaching to direct reports.
