Job summary

Cintas is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative in Hickory, NC. You will handle all accounts receivable related functions for assigned accounts, including monitoring status and contacting debtors to collect payments.

You will work heavily with customers by phone, negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans, and resolve discrepancies, while maintaining accurate account records and compliance with company policies. The role offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of collections experience.
• Ability to use confidential information professionally to achieve collections targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and intranet/internet.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable for assigned accounts.
• Identify outstanding debts and plan actions to recover payments.
• Perform heavy phone activity with customers and contact debtors.
• Investigate discrepancies and update account status; escalate when necessary.
