Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to join the Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.

You will issue invoices, research discrepancies, monitor AR balances, and follow up on past-due accounts, while coordinating with Revenue Accounting, Treasury, IT, and business partners. The role requires a degree in Business/Accounting or related experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and customer service

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, cash application, or related accounting support role.

Responsibilities

• Create and issue accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract terms, shipment activity, and timelines.
• Review invoice support and research discrepancies in unit, price, discount, or payment terms.
• Monitor open accounts receivable balances and maintain current records of invoice and payment status.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding and past-due invoices in a timely, professional manner.
• Research unapplied cash, short payments, deductions, and coordinate resolution with customers and internal partners.
• Reconcile customer accounts and tie revenue, invoices, payments, and GL activity.
• Provide information for receivables aging, cash forecasting, and period-end close activities.
• Work with Revenue Accounting and cross-functional partners to resolve issues and improve processes.
