What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims, working with payers to resolve issues
- Research claim denials to determine reasons and correct claims for timely payment
- Identify root causes of denials and recommend solutions to department leadership
- Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and enhance claim processes
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics for the accounts receivable department

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, including CPT/ICD-10 coding and various insurance requirements
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
