What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims to meet or exceed collection targets
- Research claim denials and correct and reprocess claims for timely payment
- Identify root causes of denial trends and recommend solutions to department leadership
- Perform accurate write-offs for uncollectible accounts adhering to company policies
- Participate in team meetings to share insights and improve A/R follow-up processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and claim submission requirements
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
