Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote – Portland, Oregon)
Our well-known Portland client seeks an experienced AR Specialist to hit the ground running in supporting their accounting team on a contract-basis! The ideal candidate is process-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys complex problem-solving.

This is a remote role available to candidates within a commutable distance to Portland, Oregon.
Due to the nature of this role and immediate business needs, we are only considering candidates currently residing in Portland, Oregon and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist

• Review, research, and post daily cash/check transactions.
• Process wire transfers and cash receipts.
• Respond to customer inquiries.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications

• At least 2 years of AR and cash application experience in a high-volume environment.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field highly preferred.
• Comfortable working in a paperless environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle or similar) and intermediate to advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).
• Ability to learn new systems/functions quickly; experience with Adobe a plus.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Deadline-driven with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation: $25/hr. (DOE)
