Job summary

Darden Restaurants in Honolulu is seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, Revenue Accounting, to ensure funds are received for restaurant transactions, and that costs are accrued and expensed correctly.

You will handle lockbox payments, reconcile AR transactions, support audits, and collaborate with internal teams and third parties to secure timely payments, while maintaining strong controls.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word)
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials and Discoverer is a plus
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
• Strong analytical and research ability
• Ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational and follow-through skills, strong attention to detail
• Proven experience prioritizing, planning, and solving problems effectively

Responsibilities

• Record AR transactions and ensure payments are received; includes group events with the specialty restaurants and third party delivery
• Provide guidance and support for team members reconciling restaurant AR transactions
• Prepare and review all AR account reconciliations including the restaurant aging report
• Reconcile the depository account and apply payments to correct accounts and locations
• Work with various internal departments and external third parties to ensure timely payment is received and accounted for appropriately placing additional focus on past due items
• Assist with audit requests and communicate effectively with internal and external auditors
• Work with management to ensure an adequate control environment over systems and processes
• Support leadership on special projects as requested
• Cross-training to back-up team members as needed
• Contribute to special projects as requested
