Job summary

Redemption Church is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the integrity of all incoming dollars across donor giving, Stripe subscriptions, Square POS, Shopify ecommerce, and music-industry receivables. You will reconcile each stream to the GL, research discrepancies, and collaborate with the AR Systems Analyst and Accounting on coding and month-end close.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in accounts receivable, contribution processing, or reconciliation.
• Experience with multi-entity work and donor platforms.
• Knowledge of Pushpay, Church Community Builder, Salesforce, and Sage Intacct.
• Strong Excel skills with lookups and pivot tables.
• Experience reconciling Stripe, Square, and Shopify; familiarity with processor fees, refunds, and chargebacks.
• Ability to build and maintain schedules tracking multiple income streams and allocations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to handle sensitive donor and customer situations.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AR across donor, subscription, e-commerce, and music-revenue streams to the GL.
• Investigate variances and resolve discrepancies with the accounting team.
• Manage multi-entity cash posting and bank reconciliation tasks.
• Process Stripe, Square, and Shopify receivables; reconcile processor fees and payouts to GL.
• Track royalties and publishing income for the Red Worship catalog.
• Respond to donor and payer inquiries; manage AR help-desk escalations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports and close-related documents.
• Support month-end close and audit readiness across entities.
