Proof of the Pudding, a renowned Atlanta-based catering company, is hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the Accounting Team. The role focuses on accurate AR processing, confidentiality, and continuous learning of AR procedures.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented and a self-starter. In-office position at our West Midtown location, responsibilities include posting payments, reconciling entries, and generating AR aging reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field, and/or 2+ years equivalent experience.
• Previous AR experience.
• Experience with Caterease, Reserve or Sage Intacct preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• Office out of West Midtown location.

Responsabilités

• Deposit checks and post payments to the correct customer account in the catering system.
• Record payments received to the GL System (Sage Intacct) and to events.
• Prepare AR aging reports for management review and month-end close.
• Reconcile catering system payments to bank and GL; qualify events for sales commissions.
• Follow up on past-due payments with sales managers and clients; assist with special projects as needed.
