Lynden Door is seeking an Accounting Associate to manage accounts receivable tasks, including posting customer payments and communicating payment status. Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or related accounting role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Post customer payments and process cash receipts.
• Communicate with customers about payment status and invoices.
• Investigate and resolve account discrepancies and short payments.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on delinquent accounts.
• Process payments via checks, wire transfers, ACH, and other methods.
• Maintain records of customer communications and resolutions.
• Respond to inquiries about account status and invoice details.
• Reconcile accounts and correct posting errors.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements and collection notices.
• Assist with monthly AR reporting and month-end close.
• Collaborate with sales and internal teams to resolve billing concerns.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support department operations with reporting and cash management tasks.
