Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative II in Lowell, Arkansas. Under routine supervision, you will handle moderately complex accounts and ensure accurate charging and invoicing for customers.

You will identify issues in freight payment, work with customers to collect payments, and maintain strong relationships with JB Hunt employees and external clients. This role emphasizes accuracy, timing, and teamwork in a fast-paced finance environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED with 1–2 years education/experience/training.
• Preferred: Associates degree in Finance, Transportation Logistics, or related field with 1–2 years experience.
• Ability to communicate in writing effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Reduce outstanding accounts receivables of assigned customers.
• Obtain and investigate missing or incomplete documentation for billing.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
• Audit billed charges for validity.
• Setup automated aging reports.
• Contact customers for payment status and follow up.
