Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. in Fort Smith, AR, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist I to manage the day-to-day AR processes and ensure accurate handling of customer payments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of customer credit and receivables experience.
• Experience with AR and G/L entries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Timely processing of payments and AR records.
• Run reports and complete bank reconciliations.
• Assist Customer Service and Credit Management to resolve payment issues.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and month-end close tasks.
• Ensure compliance with billing and collection regulations.
• Research and process customer refunds and disputes as needed.
