Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an efficient Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team in East London. You will manage the full AR cycle, ensuring timely payments and accurate customer records, acting as the main contact for invoice inquiries.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' AR or credit control experience, strong Excel and accounting software skills, and a proactive approach to collections, accuracy, and customer service in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or credit control.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and collections techniques.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices accurately and promptly.
• Monitor customer accounts for outstanding balances and delinquent payments.
• Initiate collection efforts through calls, emails, and statements.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts correctly and efficiently.
• Prepare aging reports and provide analysis on accounts receivable status.
