Job summary

Bonney Staffing is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing, collections, and financial records. You will prepare and process customer invoices, post cash receipts, and reconcile accounts while ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up with customers.

The ideal candidate has AR/billing experience, an associate degree or equivalent, proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, and strong communication skills. This is a full-time on-site role in Westbrook, Maine, with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or related financial work.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and reconciliation.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and MS Office.
• Strong detail orientation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and process customer invoices and supporting documentation.
• Verify pricing, purchase orders, quantities, and billing requirements.
• Send invoices to customers via email, portals, or mail.
• Post cash receipts, checks, ACH payments, and credit card payments.
• Reconciling customer accounts and researching payment discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure month-end accuracy.
• Communicate with customers regarding invoices and balances.
• Review aging reports and follow up on overdue payments.
• Maintain organized electronic records of invoices and supporting documentation.
• Assist with deposits and authorized credit card transactions.
