Job summary

Cressy Commercial Real Estate is seeking a motivated accounts receivable professional to join our accounting team and support accurate financial operations across the organization. The role involves processing payments, invoicing, balance monitoring, billing discrepancies, and month-end tasks while maintaining confidentiality and collaborating with property managers, clients, and internal teams.

This is a full-time role with a collaborative accounting team and exposure to diverse Cressy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
• Two years of accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Recent graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and less than two years of experience will be considered.
• Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process and record incoming payments from customers and tenants.
• Prepare, distribute, and maintain invoices, statements, and AR documentation.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts professionally.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate customer and tenant records and apply payments correctly.
• Communicate with property managers, clients, tenants, and internal teams about balances, invoices, and payments.
• Reconcile AR records and assist with month-end close.
• Review accounts for accuracy and flag discrepancies or items needing attention.
• Prepare AR reports and other financial information as needed.
• Assist with other accounting functions and projects to support the team.
• Maintain organized records and confidential data.
• Take ownership of assigned accounts and drive issues to resolution.
