Job summary

Five Star Franchising LLC, headquartered in Springville, Utah, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the accounting team. You will assist in invoicing accuracy, processing transactions, and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.

The role requires at least 2 years of accounting experience, solid AR/credit experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. You will handle invoice generation, payments, and communications with customers to ensure timely, accurate cash flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounting experience.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, credit, or related finance roles.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).

Responsibilities

• Invoice generation and distribution to customers for royalties, franchise fees and other revenue items.
• Provide invoices and statements to customers upon request and ensure proper documentation.
• Address billing inquiries and resolve disputes with customers; communicate for timely resolutions.
• Record and apply incoming payments to customer accounts and allocate to departments.
• Update payment methods and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
