Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. in Green Bay, WI is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to apply effective collection techniques and reduce outstanding receivables. You will work with customers to resolve billing issues and ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.

The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 1st shift, based at our Green Bay campus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least two years of accounting or business experience preferred.
• At least two years of customer service or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to make quick decisions.
• Able to facilitate change and learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer transactions to resolve outstanding disputes.
• Communicate with customers to identify risks and payment trends.
• Identify invoicing and profile needs of customers through start-up calls.
• Participate in account reviews with sales associates and customers.
• Escalate problems to the appropriate parties when necessary.
