Job summary

BSC Industries is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage payments, reconcile accounts, and assist with collections across multiple entities. You’ll maintain billing portals, apply cash, and help ensure accurate customer data, supporting healthy cash flow and timely month-end close.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of AR or accounting experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems is required; Epicor Prophet 21 preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups.
• High attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication, both internal and external.

Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit cards.
• Maintain customer AR billing portals and invoice uploads.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and invoices.
• Monitor AR aging and assist with collections outreach.
• Reconcile accounts and research payment/billing discrepancies.
• Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds as needed.
• Maintain customer master data (terms, contacts, credit limits).
• Support month-end close activities related to AR.
