Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc is seeking an Accounting Professional for our Baltimore division office. The role focuses on accounts receivable processing, collections, and related financial tasks in a professional, stable environment.

Key duties include AR transactions, policy evaluation, confidential handling of information, cash receipts, reconciliations, and collections management, with collaboration across PMs and accountants. Strong Excel skills and detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience with collections, invoicing, and/or accounts receivable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail with a dedication to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze large sets of data.
• High degree of familiarity with accounts receivable functions.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable transactions.
• Continuously evaluate current policies and recommend process improvements.
• Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Prepare cash receipts for processing.
• Perform account reconciliations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Manage collection efforts and associated functions.
• Work with project managers and accountants on various projects.
• Make accurate, independent decisions, maintain a positive attitude, and meet deadlines.
• Professional service contracts administration experience is desirable.
• Must have experience with MS Excel.
