Johnson Bros. Bakery Supply, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist in San Antonio, TX.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in Spanish with 4+ years of AR experience handling invoices, payments, and aging. Responsibilities include processing credit memos, daily invoicing, collections calls, and maintaining AR records in a fast-paced environment. Applicants should be proficient in Excel and capable of multitasking in a team setting.

Responsabilités

• Process credit memos when invoice discrepancies are noted.
• Scan and archive invoices daily.
• Schedule and coordinate customer returns with transportation; update accounts.
• Research short payments to determine credit or remaining balance.
• Maintain organized filing and records; assist with office tasks as needed.
• Make daily collection calls to follow up on past due balances.
• Conduct account research to resolve billing discrepancies; maintain aging report.
• Send statements to customers with outstanding balances; communicate to resolve issues.
• Record and reconcile payments; process payments via checks, credit cards, and ACH.
• Maintain accurate AR records for auditing and reporting.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and have more than 4 years of experience in AR with extensive experience managing customers' invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.Responsibilities:Process credit memos as needed when invoice discrepancies are noted on invoiceScan and archive invoices dailySchedule and coordinate customers' return with transportation to ensure timely customer pickups and accurately update customers' accountsResearch short payments on customers' invoices to determine whether credit should be issued or if the remaining balance is still owedFiling to maintain organized and accurate recordsAssist with various office administrative tasks when neededMake daily collection calls to follow up on past due balancesConduct account research to resolve billing discrepanciesMaintain an accurate aging report to track outstanding balancesSend account statements to customers with outstanding balancesCommunicate with external/internal customers to resolve billing discrepanciesRecord and reconcile paymentsProcess payments via checks, credit cards, and ACHMaintain accurate records of account receivable transactionsQualifications:Bilingual in Spanish (required)High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 4 years accounts receivable experience, billing, collections, and strong knowledge of general accounting principlesStrong communication skills, including excellent customer service telephone skillsDemonstrated ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, high-volume environment with frequent interruptions and changing prioritiesAbility to work well in a team environmentMust be detail oriented with strong organizational skillsMust be proficient in ExcelAFS/Telus technologies experience a plusAbility to multitaskPay and Benefits:$22/hourPaid Time Off after 60 daysBenefits after 60 days and include company paid Life/AD&D, short term disabilityEligible for 401(k) after 1 year of employment to include 401(k) employer matchMajor holidays offPaid weekly
