Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks an Accounts Receivable professional to support day-to-day AR operations within a growing accounting team. You will handle billing, cash applications, collections, and reconciliations in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized, with 1+ year of AR or related accounting experience. Familiarity with SAP, Infor, Avalara or ERP software is a plus, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

1+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
Experience with billing, cash applications, collections, or account reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with MS Suite; industry experience preferred but not required
SAP, Infor, Avalara, or comparable ERP/tax software experience is a plus
Sales tax experience is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Process customer invoices, credits, and billing adjustments
Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts
Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due accounts
Perform collections and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
Maintain customer accounts and update billing information
Process remittance information and research unapplied payments
Assist with sales tax reporting, reconciliations, and exemption certificates
Run credit checks and assist with customer payment terms
Respond to customer billing and AR inquiries
Assist with month-end close and AR reporting
Provide additional accounting and AP support as needed

We are seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to support day-to-day AR operations within a growing accounting team. This position will be responsible for billing, cash applications, collections, account reconciliations, and customer account maintenance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer invoices, credits, and billing adjustments
Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts
