Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant experience as an accountant focusing on accounts receivable operations.
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to perform reconciliations and validate the accuracy of the information.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced accountant to join our accounting operations department. The Senior Accountant will focus on dealer remittances and incentives to invoices for our client dealerships. Working with inside and outside sales agents regarding assigned dealers the agent's commissions. The ideal candidate must have excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate with our partners on a daily basis.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare dealer remittances and invoices with little direction from the department manager
• Prepare agent commissions payments with little direction from the department manager
• Prepare Dealer pack & Incentives payments with little direction from the department manager
• Work with inside and outside sales agents regarding assigned dealers
• Post Journal Entries and Reconcile assigned GL Accounts with little direction from the department manager
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
• Prepare clear and concise documentation of all work performed
• Must be a self-starter and eager to learn
• Follow established processes and recommend improvements
• Other duties will be at the discretion of management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field is required*
• Minimum of 3-5+ years of relevant experience as an accountant focusing on accounts receivable (AR) operations
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to perform reconciliations and validate the accuracy of the information being used
• Willingness to take accountability and initiative
• Excellent computer skills including Strong Excel and accounting software
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a complex, dynamic environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
