EPS Security is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role supports the AR and Collections team with payments, deposits, and customer account management.

Description

EPS Security is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This individual will work closely with the current Accounts Receivable and Collections team to support collections, payment processing, and customer account management.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Post all forms of customer payments and process daily deposits and cash receipts.
• Research and resolve unapplied payments.
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding billing inquiries and payment questions.
• Review delinquent accounts and follow established EPS collection procedures for account research and customer outreach.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve past-due account issues and support collection efforts.
• Process and maintain appropriate bankruptcy and small claims documentation.
• Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation.
• Assist with additional accounts receivable and collection activities as assigned

Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Proficiency in computer applications, includingMicrosoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research and resolve customer account issues.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and courteously with customers and coworkers.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience required.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
