Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The role involves maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and resolving discrepancies. This position is vital for maintaining the company's financial health and reports to the Accounting Manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send invoices promptly
  • Monitor and record incoming payments, applying them correctly
  • Reconcile customer accounts regularly
  • Resolve discrepancies and billing issues
  • Communicate with customers regarding their accounts and overdue payments
  • Prepare accounts receivable reports, including aging and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams
  • Provide backup support to the Receptionist/Accounting Specialist and Logistics Manager
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Experience in accounts receivable or similar financial roles
