Job summary

Wimmer Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage day‑to‑day AR operations in a fast‑paced environment. You will build relationships with customers via phone and email, apply payments, and collaborate with accounting to keep cash flow healthy.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years AR experience, familiarity with NetSuite or similar ERP, and strong communication skills. This US‑based role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education and experience.
• 1–3 years Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers through phone and email (30%).
• Monitor current customer accounts for overdue balances and follow up with internal/external personnel (15%).
• Troubleshoot and respond to inquiries through financial operations shared mailboxes (10%).
• Apply and deposit checks/wires received to the appropriate open receivable account (10%).
• Generate credit memos and customer refunds as needed (5%).
• Reconcile credit card batches and deposits daily (5%).
• Work with collection agencies to place accounts when necessary (5%).
• Review aged accounts receivable to ensure accurate balances (5%).
• Research, dispute and process chargebacks promptly (5%).
• Perform special projects and varied tasks as needed (5%).

Our client is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day accounts receivable operations of a rapidly growing company in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Accounting Manager and will work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve department, company, and personal goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers through phone and email (30%)
• Monitor current customer accounts for overdue balances, follow up with internal and external personnel via telephone, email and other measures for timely resolution of collection matters and billing disputes (15%)
• Troubleshoot and respond to internal and external inquiries through financial operations shared mailboxes (10%)
• Apply and deposit checks/wires received to the appropriate open receivable account (10%)
• Generate credit memos and customer refunds as needed (5%)
• Reconcile credit card batches and make deposits daily (5%)
• Work closely with collection agency to place accounts with them when necessary (5%)
• Perform reviews of aged accounts receivable to ensure balances display an accurate picture of customer receivables (5%)
• Research, dispute and process chargebacks in a timely manner (5%)
• Perform special projects and varied tasks as needed (5%)

WHAT YOU BRING

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education and years of experience
• 1-3 years Accounts Receivable or equivalent experience
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP system
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work for a US based company without requiring visa sponsorship.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly range is $25/hr - $30/hr based on shift, experience and qualifications, as well as geographical market and business considerations.
