Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Business Support Center (BSC) team in Kennesaw, GA. In this role, you will manage a dedicated B2B customer portfolio, balancing commercial collections with exceptional account management. You will serve as a key point of contact for resolving billing disputes, identifying credit risks, and partnering with cross-functional sales and operations teams to drive timely cash flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Portfolio Ownership: Oversee daily B2B commercial collection efforts across an assigned portfolio of customer accounts; prioritize workflows to optimize cash collection and lower delinquency.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate customer account errors, pricing discrepancies, and complex billing inquiries; partner with internal stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify potential credit risks, monitor past-due accounts, and elevate critical issues to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and Regional Risk Teams.
• Field Partnership: Collaborate directly with field leadership (Branch Managers, Account Managers, Area Sales Managers) to address client account needs while maintaining positive corporate customer relationships.
• Account Reconciliation: Ensure meticulous documentation of call notes, payment arrangements, and account follow-ups; process returned mail and adjust account status as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with proven success managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial (B2B) accounts receivable or collection experience managing a high-volume portfolio.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP or major enterprise ERP systems.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Competitive hourly pay rate ($20.00 - $26.00/hr based on experience)
• Monthly Incentive Bonus Program based on portfolio performance and collection targets
