Responsibilities

• Manage daily collection efforts for a portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing to maximize collection benefits.
• Lead the customer resolution process, liaise with internal stakeholders, and communicate to support collection goals while ensuring best‑in‑class customer service.
• Recognize significant credit risks, identify potential credit problems, and escalate matters to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and field contacts as needed.
• Address and investigate customer account errors and discrepancies, including billing and pricing issues.
• Utilize customer service skills to maintain positive customer relationships during collection efforts; collaborate with field contacts and regional collections managers when necessary.
• Meticulously document all communications and follow‑up efforts related to collection activities.
• Initiate appropriate follow‑up action on returned mail and address discrepancies on customers’ accounts.

We are hiring Collection Specialists in Kennesaw, GA. This role requires a proactive approach to collections, strong customer service skills, dispute resolution, and the ability to effectively manage a portfolio of customer accounts.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. First 90 days must be worked in the office; a hybrid work arrangement may be possible after successful training. Bilingual (English/Spanish) professionals preferred (not required).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily collection efforts for a portfolio of customer accounts, prioritizing to maximize collection benefits.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to problem‑solve and quickly research solutions.
• Excellent organizational skills in time management and resource allocation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• A proven track record of success in prior collection roles and owning an AR portfolio.
• Commercial collection experience.
• Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems.
• Basic Excel experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
