Job summary

Inox Solar Americas LLC in Greenville, NC seeks an experienced AR Manager to oversee invoicing, collections, credit, and cash application, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and healthy cash flow within a growing solar manufacturing business.

You will partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Plant leadership to optimize AR processes, manage risk, and lead the AR team through close cycles and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years accounts receivable/credit and collections experience, including 2+ years in supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics).
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills for customer-facing collections work.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full AR cycle: invoicing, collections, deductions, and cash application.
• Oversee credit evaluations and set customer credit limits in line with policy.
• Monitor aging reports and drive reduction of past-due balances and DSO.
• Lead, train, and develop AR staff; assign workloads and review performance.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing disputes.
• Reconcile AR sub-ledger to the general ledger monthly.
• Prepare AR aging, bad debt reserve analysis, and cash forecasting reports.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and SOX requirements.
• Support month-end/year-end close related to revenue and receivables.
• Manage customer master data, terms, and contract billing requirements.
• Coordinate with logistics/shipping to ensure accurate billing tied to shipments.
• Support external audits with AR documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation in AR/collections.
• Assist with customer contract review related to payment terms.
