Job summary

Crescent Parts & Equipment is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead credit, collections, and AR operations while developing a talented AR team. This hands-on leadership role protects cash flow and drives growth through strategic oversight and daily operational involvement.

Responsibilities include improving cash flow, evaluating creditworthiness, managing high‑risk accounts, coaching the AR team, and collaborating with Sales, Finance, and branch teams to resolve billing

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in commercial credit, collections, or AR
• Prior leadership/management experience
• Strong credit analysis, collections, AR operations, and risk knowledge
• Experience with ERP and AR automation platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead credit and collections to improve cash flow
• Evaluate creditworthiness and set credit limits
• Manage escalated collections and high-risk accounts
• Coach and develop AR team
• Monitor aging, performance, and risk metrics

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial credit, collections, or accounts receivable
• Previous leadership or management experience
• Strong knowledge of credit analysis, collections practices, accounts receivable operations, and risk management
• Experience working with ERP systems and accounts receivable automation platforms
• Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• NACM Credit Business Associate (CBA) certification
• Experience in wholesale distribution, construction‑related industries, or multi‑location operations
• Experience improving or automating AR, invoicing, or collections processes
• MBA or advanced degree in a related field
