Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years government contract billing experience preferred.
• Experience with Fixed Price, Progress, Milestone, and Cost-Plus billing.
• Knowledge of FAR & CAS regulations for government invoicing.
• Overhead rates/pools considered for invoicing purposes.
• Experience reviewing government contract awards for billing requirements.
• Proficient in Excel and Cognos; Deltek Costpoint experience preferred.
• Detail oriented, reliable, and deadline-driven.
• Drug-free workplace with post-offer/pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all data required for billing, invoices, and transmission to customer systems.
• Lead corporate billing department and provide oversight and training.
• Assign billing responsibilities and monitor timely submission across units.
• Prepare monthly manual billings when required and ensure contract terms compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Contracts, and project personnel for accurate billing.
• Process and submit electronic invoices (e.g., WAWF) and maintain documentation.
• Interpret FAR/CAS terms and advise on compliant requirements.
• Investigate and resolve accounts receivable issues; maintain invoice files.
• Support month-end and year-end closings and contract closeout billing.
