Qualifications

• Two years of fiscal record-keeping experience and 15 quarter hours or 10 semester hours of accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Knowledge and applying GAAP.
• Advanced knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience reconciling bank statements, AR/AP, GL accounts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable team member in a busy department with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain AR, apply payments, and reconcile accounts to GL.
• Prepare monthly statements and assist in close processes.
• Audit daily transactions and resolve discrepancies for complex accounts.
• Generate financial reports and assist manager as needed.
