Job summary

Ideal Sushi Supply Co. in Oregon (Salem) is seeking an AR and Data Entry Clerk to support accounts receivable, data entry, and reporting so our financial records stay accurate for local operations.

You will process customer payments, deposits, credits, and maintain customer records, while assisting with internal reporting, data analysis, and market research to inform management decisions, and you will travel to the bank for deposits as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts receivable, financial transactions, and general business practices.
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to create and maintain reports using data from multiple sources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Processes and records customer payments, receipts, and other accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
• Monitors customer accounts for outstanding balances, payment discrepancies, and account irregularities.
• Assists with resolving customer account discrepancies and communicating with customers regarding payment questions and account balances.
• Prepares, processes, and records credit memos in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintains accurate customer account records, payment histories, and supporting documentation.
• Reconciles customer payments and account activity to ensure accurate balances.
