Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a finance professional to lead month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations. You will manage journal entries, revenue reporting, and capital project invoicing in ERP systems, ensuring accurate billing and adherence to SOX policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform month end close, financial close, reconciliations and journal entries.
• Close processes include revenue reporting, sign-off processing, and order approvals.
• Invoicing of capital projects in ERP systems and reconciling to ensure accurate billing.
• Collaborate with customers and sales to resolve collections issues.
• Maintain SOX-compliant policies and procedures and ensure adherence.
• Support, track, and troubleshoot issues across internal and external teams.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, AR, Finance, Customer Service, Sales Ops, Project Managers).

Work Flexibility: Hybrid Schedule 1st Shift, Mon - Fri 8am - 4:30pm CT Overtime based on business needs

What you will do

• Responsible for performing month end financial close, financial reporting, reconciliation process, and corresponding journal entries.
• Close Processes include:
  • Revenue Reporting and Reconciliation to GL
  • Sign-Off Processing
  • Order Approvals
  • Account Reconciliations
• Perform daily activities to invoice capital projects in ERP systems, small parts and tech-support orders, including reconciling capital projects to ensure accurate billing throughout the life of a project.
• Partner with customers and sales representatives to resolve challenges related to collection balances.
• Maintaining development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensure all established policies and procedures are Sarbanes Oxley Compliant and followed by employees.
• Contribute to team performance in regard to receivables goal attainment, aging receivables, and other related tasks.
• Support, track and help troubleshoot problems that may arise within internal and external teams.
• Partner with Cross-Functional teams to ensure processes are accurately and effectively being performed. Cross-Functional partners include: Sales, Shared Accounts Receivable, Finance, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Flex Financial and Project Managers.
• Have a strong working knowledge of multiple ERP systems and CPQ/Salesforce to perform tasks around current and historical order investigation.
• Supports Endoscopy division through Accelerate, ERP go-live, and other miscellaneous projects.

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2)+ years related work experience
• Ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekends and evenings as needed
• Ideal candidate lives within reasonable commuting distance to Flower Mound, TX Stryker location
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in business or related curriculum
• Demonstratable knowledge of accounting practices and procedures

Experience with Oracle, SAP, Salesforce $23.74 - $32.12 USD Hourly Travel Percentage: 10%

Work Flexibility Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements.

Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
