• Process and post customer payments.
• Look up customer accounts and answer payment-related questions.
• Assist customers who have questions regarding invoices or payments.
• Maintain accurate and detailed A/R and collection records.
• Provide general accounting and office support as needed.
• Answer phones and assist with customer service responsibilities.
• Proactively identify work that needs to be completed during slower periods.

Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

Monday–Friday

7:30 AM–4:30 PM

Pay: approximately $24.00–$26.20/hour, depending on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join a well-established, family-owned company. This position will focus heavily on accounts receivable and customer collections while also providing support with payments, invoicing, and general accounting-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will have previous A/R and collections experience, be comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone and have the confidence to work through account and payment issues with customers. This is a busy environment, so we're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to jump in wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities
