Rosauers Supermarkets Inc. is seeking a dedicated accounting professional to audit cash and sales, prepare journal entries, and maintain balance sheet integrity across multiple stores. The role emphasizes strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP experience, with a preference for retail grocery exposure.

The candidate will collaborate with store teams, generate weekly/monthly reports, and support internal controls while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Retail grocery experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Works well in an office environment.
• 4-year accounting degree or relevant experience preferred.

Description

At Rosauers Supermarkets, we pride ourselves on providing our customers with the highest quality products, the largest selection, the cleanest stores and the friendliest service. We proudly serve the Inland Pacific Northwest, with 23 stores and over 2,000 employees throughout Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Work Hours

Monday through Friday. Defined 8-hour shift between 6:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Audits the daily cash and sales report from all stores (26 store locations) and balances accounts accurately and timely.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Communicate with stores to help resolve issues when they occur.
• Responsible for multiple weekly and monthly reports.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older
• Complete a pre-employment background check
