Cardinal Home Center is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Madison, VA team. You will process invoices, post payments, reconcile accounts, and support collections with accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable and collections experience is required.
• Building industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Special Order Invoicing: Verify, generate and issue accurate customer invoices with correct billing details and purchase order information for multiple locations on a timely basis.
• Account Maintenance & Payment Processing: Post incoming payments, apply payments, reconcile accounts, serve as a point of contact for inquiries, and cross-train on cash deposits.
• Collections: Monitor aging and contact past-due customers; assist with collection documents with Credit Manager.
• Reporting: Generate monthly customer statements as needed.
• Maintaining AR Records: Maintain customer account records and assist with filing/scanning.
