Job summary

L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk / Collections at our Sun Valley office. The role involves processing and applying customer payments, reconciling accounts, and investigating payment discrepancies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-6 years of experience in accounts receivable, payment processing, billing.
• Experience in processing customer payments & reconciling customer accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm when handling customer concerns.
• Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; Service Titan & QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Experience submitting invoices through customer billing or vendor portals.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve unapplied, partial, duplicate, and overpayments. Track returned payments and insufficient fund transactions. Assist with daily deposit procedures, payment reconciliation, and month-end activities. Perform collections calls and emails.

SCHEDULE:

WHAT SETS YOU APART:

L.A. Hydro-Jet & Rooter Service determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. Pay for this position is $25-29/hr. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
