A leading company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative for their New Castle, DE location. The role involves posting payments, resolving account issues, and maintaining high customer service standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in accounts receivable, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Responsible for timely and accurate posting of customer payments, resolving account discrepancies, scanning payments into the bank, and documenting communications in the Sapphire system. Collaborates with retailers, sales, warehouse, drivers, customer service, and the National Call Center to collect outstanding balances and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
Post customer payments accurately and in a timely manner
Research and reconcile account discrepancies
Scan and deposit payments to the bank
Maintain accurate notes of all communication in Sapphire
Notify customers and sales of account issues as needed
Email monthly statements to specific accounts
Work independently and as part of a team
Maintain good working relationships across departments
Ensure high standards of customer service
Keep customer accounts up to date with attention to detail
Escalate issues to AR Manager as necessary
Handle a high volume of customer and driver calls
Problem solve under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Requirements
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in accounts receivable or similar role
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Able to manage time and tasks in a fast-paced environment
