Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Summit seeks an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage billing, invoicing and cash application across the organization. You will enter invoices with correct GL codes and maintain accurate vendor accounts.

Strong Medicaid billing experience, solid Excel skills, and AR aging management are essential. The role supports the CFO, backs up payroll, and collaborates with all departments in a nonprofit environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
• Three to five years of related accounting experience.
• Experience with Medicaid billing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Enter invoices into the company software with appropriate GL codes.
• Manage cash receipts and apply payments to vendor accounts.
• AR aging and collections to ensure timely cash flow.
• Coordinate grant invoicing and billing, ensuring accuracy of AR balances.
• Assist CFO with accounting statements, bill statements, receipts or checks; back up payroll.
• Back up administrative assistant and collaborate with all departments.
