Job summary

Sensit Technologies, LLC is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to process payments, issue invoices, and maintain accurate customer records at our Valparaiso, IN office. You will collaborate with Sales and Customer Service to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collections.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. This in-office position offers stable hours, a friendly team environment, and room for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years accounting/finance experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process and post incoming payments (checks, ACH, credit card transactions) in a timely and accurate manner.
• Generate and issue customer invoices, account statements, and billing notices.
• Maintain customer account records and ensure all financial data is up to date.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Work with Sales and Customer Service to ensure smooth billing and collection processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and identify delinquent accounts.
• Contact customers by phone, email, and mail to follow up on past-due invoices.
• Record and track collection activities in the accounting system.
• Cross-train in team roles to support daily operations.
• Complete other related duties as assigned by leadership.
