Job summary

Gourmet Foods International is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to manage customer accounts and receivables. You will review aging reports, monitor payment terms, assist with collections, reconcile accounts, and respond to inquiries from customers and sales reps.

The ideal candidate is accurate, dependable, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced accounting environment. Strong Excel/Access skills and customer service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to review aging reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Excel and Access for data analyses.
• Experience with accounts receivable and collections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review AR aging reports and identify customers beyond terms.
• Contact customers to collect outstanding balances via calls and emails.
• Provide customer statements, invoices, and aging reports as needed.
• Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies.
• Process daily credit card transactions as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
