Dentsu in New York is seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to help manage cash applications, review daily cash receipts, and generate routine reports. You will collaborate with project accounting, client teams, and Accounts Payable to ensure timely and accurate processing.

The role requires a BS in Accounting or Finance and 0–1 years AR experience, with Excel data entry skills; knowledge of general ledger systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience.
• 0–1 years related accounts receivable experience including cash application/collection efforts or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of general ledger accounting systems and general accounting, including data entry in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review daily cash receipts and generate daily reports.
• Identify remittance advices and maintain support with cash application batches.
• Review weekly aging reports for past due and coming‑due client balances.
• Collaborate with project accounting, client and client teams to identify and resolve pain points for aged items.
• Assist with client and client team inquiries and respond in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform monthly G/L account reconciliations and assist with audits as directed.
