Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a Finance/Account Operations professional to support delinquent accounts, analyze financial data, and ensure accurate processing across client portfolios.

The role requires 1 year of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business. Onboarding new clients and maintaining SLAs are key duties, with regular collaboration across departments to protect receivables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, accounting, sales or business.
• 1 year of relevant and/or related professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Service delinquent or bankrupt customer accounts through telephone and personal contact, to protect our financial exposure, increase corporate cash flow, and minimize bad debt expense.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments to resolve account related issues.
• Analyze account data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement and to identify customers with delinquent accounts.
• Respond to escalated account inquiries and document all conversations with customers and update account information in company databases and systems.
• Perform account updates, reconciliations and data integrity checks.
• Maintain accurate records in financial systems and databases.
• Assist in onboarding new clients/accounts and maintaining service-level standards.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.
• Develop positive working relationships with functional departments and operations and assist with providing financial support.
• Acquire knowledge in the use, development and maintenance of processes, information systems and software.
• Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
