Location is Santa Fe Springs, CA with a pay rate of $23.00–$26.00 per hour and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule. Temp-to-Hire employment and ERP software experience are valued assets in this position.

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong collections experience and excellent communication skills? Our client is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team in Santa Fe Springs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing customer service, collections, and accounting responsibilities in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable functions with a primary focus on collections (approximately 65% of workload).
• Contact customers regarding past-due balances and work toward timely payment resolutions.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, billing issues, and account discrepancies.
• Verify and post customer payments and receipts accurately.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Process and verify credit applications while assisting with credit-related activities.
• Support consignment account management (approximately 15% of workload).
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable functions when needed (approximately 20% of workload).

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Receivable and collections experience preferred.
• Strong 10-key data entry skills.
• Experience working with ERP software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong grammar.
• Strong attention to detail, retention, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
