This role focuses on accounts payable processing, vendor invoices, reimbursements, and timely cash flow planning. You will work with managers and suppliers to ensure accuracy, pricing, and compliance while advancing automation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Accounting or business administration degree, or 5+ years in the automotive industry.
• Strong math, verbal and computer skills; these skills may be tested.
• Seeks to improve processes through technology and automation.
• Excellent phone and written communication abilities.
• Previous customer service, collections, or accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of accounts payable processing and weekly check runs.
• Enter, verify, and process vendor invoices and reimbursements with proper authorization and tax compliance.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies; monitor AP schedules for timeliness.
• Prepare AP estimates for cash flow planning and assist with past-due collections.
• Process customer payments and manage billing cycles; send statements monthly and past-due.
• Collaborate with department managers to resolve account issues and maintain clear communication.
• Support account setup, onboarding of new accounts, and references verification.
• Ensure compliance with collection regulations and maintain organized records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute process improvements across accounting and operations.
