The position supports onboarding, discrepancies resolution, W-9/1099 processing, and year-end activities, with standard first-shift hours and a focus on internal controls and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in accounts payable or vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Strong data accuracy and problem-solving skills are expected.
• Knowledge of supplier onboarding processes and 1099/W-9 handling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain supplier profiles, ensuring compliance.
• Troubleshoot discrepancies in onboarding or account maintenance.
• Process tax documents (W-9, 1099) and assist with year-end activities.
• Serve as primary contact for supplier support via internal help desk.
• Assist internal audits with documentation and data gathering.
• Maintain controls throughout the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
• Collaborate with leadership to implement workflow automation and AP improvements.
• Provide timely responses to internal and external inquiries.

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist focused on Vendor Management to ensure the accuracy and consistency of supplier data across multiple lines of business. This professional will act as a primary bridge between the finance department, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations and resolve financial issues quickly.

salary: $28 - $30 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Onboard and maintain all supplier profiles, ensuring strict adherence to internal compliance standards


• Troubleshoot and promptly resolve any discrepancies related to supplier onboarding or account maintenance


• Manage the routine collection, review, and updating of required tax documentation, such as W-9 forms


• Facilitate annual 1099 tax reporting and provide support for various year-end financial activities


• Operate as the primary contact for supplier support via our internal help desk, efficiently addressing all inquiries and concerns


• Gather and organize essential documentation to assist the broader finance team during internal and external audits


• Champion and maintain rigorous internal controls throughout the procure-to-pay lifecycle


• Work alongside key business leaders to discover and implement workflow automation and accounts payable processimprovements


• Deliver timely and accurate resolutions for questions originating from both internal colleagues and external vendors


• Investigate and reconcile variations in invoices or payment schedules alongside cross-functional teams


• Provide data-driven insights, custom reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis to support business objectives


• Execute general administrative duties and contribute to specialized finance projects as needed
