Job summary

OxyChem in Dallas, TX, invites an experienced Accounts Payable leader to join our safety-first, performance-driven team. You will supervise on-site invoice intake, ensure accurate 2-way/3-way matching, and oversee payment processes across plant, freight, corporate, and utilities.

You will lead a team, monitor KPIs, and drive process improvements while maintaining strong internal controls and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, VIM, Ariba, Concur, FileNet, and bank portals.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, separation of duties, and compliance requirements.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise onsite invoice intake activities, including mailroom coordination, physical invoice handling, scanning, OCR exception resolution, and ingestion monitoring.
• Oversee processing of invoices across plant, freight, corporate, and utility payables, ensuring proper 2-way and 3-way matching, tolerance validation, and approval routing.
• Perform and supervise retained payment support activities, including check return reconciliation, void and reissue support, and monitoring failed payments.
• Support escheatment and unclaimed property activities, including audits and due diligence coordination.
• Enforce policies for T&E and PCard programs, including audit exception review and escalation thresholds.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and provide invoice copies and evidence for audits.
