Job summary

Uline, a family-owned shipping materials company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Team Lead to oversee a high-performing AP group and ensure timely payment processing across North America.

You will mentor AP Specialists, drive month-end closings, and participate in hiring while maintaining accurate ledger entries. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth potential within a stable, expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of AP Specialists, providing regular feedback and guidance.
• Complete month-end accounting processes, including invoice reporting and GL reconciliations.
• Conduct interviews and make recommendations for potential new hires for the AP team.
• Review and audit recurring reports and GL accounts for accuracy and consistency.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage a team of AP Specialists, providing regular feedback, guidance and support to help your team succeed.
• Complete month-end accounting processes, including invoice reporting and account reconciliations.

• Review and audit recurring reports and general ledger accounts and descriptions for accuracy and consistency.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
