Company Overview:

A multi-billion-dollar asset management firm with a global presence is seeking an Accounts Payable & T&E Consultant. The firm operates across major financial hubs and focuses on deploying multiple absolute return strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review, code, and process supplier invoices, confirming documentation, approvals, and expense allocations.
• Manage AP and T&E email inboxes: triage requests, respond to routine inquiries, follow up on missing information, and escalating exceptions.
• Provide responsive, professional customer service to colleagues and suppliers by answering AP and T&E questions, resolving routine issues, and following through on requests in a timely manner.
• Review expense submissions for completeness, approvals, and compliance with the firm's T&E policy.
• Understand VAT treatment of invoices and expenses, identify VAT-related exceptions, and prepare supporting information for Finance review.
• Reconcile corporate credit card activity and AP balances; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Support payment preparation, month-end close, and audit requests within assigned responsibilities.
• Help document, update, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for AP and T&E processes.

Qualifications:

• Experience in accounts payable, expense administration, or a related finance operations role.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations and strong spreadsheet skills.
• Workday and Concur experience preferred.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: $45 - $60/hr, DOE
