Job summary

Landing Point is seeking a hands-on consultant to join its corporate finance team in New York. You will own full-cycle accounts payable for management company and fund entities, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate expense allocations between entities.

You will also drive month-end close activities, including accruals, prepaids, journal entries, and reconciliations, while contributing to the rollout of a new spend-management platform and related systems. Onsite five days a week in New York.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate or management company accounting experience with hands-on AP ownership.
• Hedge fund, private equity, or broader financial services experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks or a comparable GL; strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Ramp or a similar spend-management platform is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes and controls in a lean environment.
• Able to work onsite five days per week in New York and start on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounts payable across management company and fund entities: review, code, route, and process vendor invoices
• Execute and document ACH, wire, and check payments with appropriate authorization and controls
• Manage vendor onboarding, including W-9 collection and bank-detail callback verification
• Ensure accurate allocation of expenses between management company and fund entities
• Support month-end close: accruals, prepaids, journal entries, AP and corporate card reconciliations
• Contribute to the rollout of a new spend-management platform and other systems implementations
• Identify process and control gaps; design and document improved AP and close workflows
• Manage the shared AP inbox and serve as a responsive, discreet partner to investment and operations teams

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $50 - $120/hr
